What changed for overseas players in BBL 2026–27?
The overseas player draft has been removed for BBL|16. Clubs can negotiate direct deals in an open market, returning to the system used before 2022. Each club can sign up to three overseas players on its primary list, but there is no longer a minimum overseas-player requirement.
