Abhishek's powerplay and Tilak's late 51 changed the innings

Abhishek hit seven sixes and three fours in his 28-ball 61. The start was not a one-player innings: the official scorecard shows wickets at 28 and 51, then Abhishek stumped off Arafat Minhas with India at 93/3. Ishan Kishan made 20 and captain Shreyas Iyer 21. India were 133/5 after 14.1 overs, so the 211 total required a second surge rather than simply maintaining the first-six-over scoring rate.

Tilak contributed 51 not out from 22 balls with four sixes. Shivam Dube supplied 27 from 15; their late-innings stand moved India toward a demanding total. The Olympics final account and BBC match report also identify the contrast between Abhishek's explosive beginning and Tilak's finishing runs. Neither this result nor those accounts should be read as a prediction about another fixture.

Hasan Nawaz reached 96, but the chase stopped at 192/6

Pakistan slipped to 39/3 after 6.1 overs. Hasan Nawaz responded with 96 from 51 balls, including seven sixes, while Saim Ayub added 29. Dube dismissed Ayub with the score at 126/4. The completed PCB scorecard records Axar Patel and Washington Sundar returning 2/29 each, with Dube taking 2/33.

Hasan's innings kept a chase possible into the closing overs, but Pakistan never reached India's 211. Dube dismissed him off the final ball of the innings, which ended at 192/6. This was a completed 20-over final, not a washout or a match decided by seeding. The independent full scorecard allows readers to check each dismissal and the actual XIs, rather than using an advance squad list as a team sheet.

From the Sri Lanka semi-final to the medal podium

India reached the final by beating Sri Lanka by 124 runs on 1 October. Ishan Kishan's 80 not out drove India's 169/7 before Sri Lanka were dismissed for 45. The completed India–Sri Lanka semi-final report explains that on-field win and distinguishes it from India's earlier rain-abandoned quarter-final, when higher seeding sent India through without a played result.

Pakistan beat Bangladesh in the other semi-final; Sri Lanka later won the bronze fixture against Bangladesh. Olympics' tournament results records the medal picture. For selection context, the pre-final squad-change guide documents who was in the larger board lists on 2 October; the completed final scorecard identifies the actual playing elevens. The earlier final-time preview remains an archived pre-match snapshot, not today's result.

Some event-page prose conflicts over who was sent in to bat: the BCCI match record, PCB scorecard and dedicated Olympics match report say India won the toss and chose to bat, while an Olympics tournament roundup describes India as asked to bat. We follow the contemporaneous match records and do not infer an unverified start time from inconsistent previews.
