When is India Champions vs South Africa Champions in India?
India Champions vs South Africa Champions is scheduled for Tuesday 6 October 2026 at 5:00 PM IST at Sharjah Cricket Stadium in the UAE. The World Championship of Legends Match 7 page gives a 15:30 UAE local start; FanCode's India fixture listing gives 5 PM. This is a Champions/legends match—not the senior India men's international in Lucknow later that evening.
Scheduled time, not a score or a confirmed playing XI. The organiser's match centre takes priority if it changes the plan.
This page deliberately answers an India Champions query rather than repeating the 5 October doubleheader and Pakistan Champions participation alert. Different teams and dates make separate articles useful if each remains current. The Pakistan uncertainty concerns another team and does not, by itself, cancel the 5 PM India–South Africa Champions listing.
Is the 9 PM Pakistan Champions fixture going ahead?
The organiser's Match 8 and FanCode's schedule still list Pakistan Champions vs West Indies Champions at 19:30 UAE / 9:00 PM IST on 6 October at Sharjah. But a scheduled card is not a confirmation that Pakistan will participate. Gulf News reports WCL postponed Pakistan–Bangladesh Champions on 3 October, citing the organiser's “technical reasons” notice; NOC explanations were not publicly confirmed by WCL in that report. The Express Tribune later reported Pakistan Champions out over missing PCB NOCs, while quoting the owner hoping for a reversal. The organiser still showed Match 8 as scheduled at our 4 October check; participation and this second match remain uncertain.
India-time reference for 6 October
5:00 PM: India Champions vs South Africa Champions — WCL Match 7 listed at Sharjah.
7:00 PM: India vs West Indies — separate senior men's first T20I listed at Lucknow.
9:00 PM: Pakistan Champions vs West Indies Champions — Match 8 still listed, but Pakistan participation disputed; check for a new organiser decision.
The evening listings refer to two different competitions. Do not buy access, travel or claim a Match 8 result based on the old schedule; the organizer may change it. WCL teams retain “Champions” in their names and are not national-team internationals.
Do not mistake India Champions for the Shreyas Iyer India squad
In the senior India–West Indies first T20I, the BCCI fixture is in Lucknow at 7 PM IST and BCCI has a current senior squad update. WCL's 5 PM India Champions game is at Sharjah under the legends organiser's calendar. A player mentioned in either competition's squad page is not automatically part of the other match. The overlapping clock is not evidence of a double booking or a changed start.
A form story should start with a completed organiser scorecard, not a stale partial score. At our 4 October check, the preceding India Champions–England Champions match did not have a verified official final outcome in the checked material. We do not label it a win or loss, manufacture WCL standings or name a Tuesday XI before the organiser publishes one.
Where India viewers can check a legitimate match listing
FanCode's own WCL 2026 tour page lists India Champions–South Africa Champions at 5 PM on Tuesday and a 9 PM Pakistan–West Indies listing that is now disputed. It is a digital listing to consult in India, not confirmation that the second fixture will run; users must verify the organizer's latest status, access, pass pricing and preview limits. A short preview offer does not equal a free full-match stream.
India's senior bilateral matches are under a different JioStar rights announcement. This site offers match information, not official media rights, tickets or a guaranteed feed. Before using a social clip as a team sheet or highlight, check the official WCL match page for a confirmed toss, score and status.
