Which WCL matches are on 5 October, and when in India?

The World Championship of Legends 2026 still lists a two-match Sharjah programme on Monday 5 October: Australia Champions vs Pakistan Champions at 5:00 PM IST, then Bangladesh Champions vs England Champions at 9:00 PM IST. The organiser's Match 5 and Match 6 show 15:30 and 19:30 UAE local starts. India is 90 minutes ahead; FanCode’s India fixture list also shows 5 PM and 9 PM. Pakistan Champions' participation in Match 5 is disputed despite that scheduled listing; do not treat it as a guaranteed game.

Two listed starts, one venue — subject to change

Match 5: Australia Champions–Pakistan Champions • listed 15:30 UAE / 17:00 IST; Pakistan participation unconfirmed.

Match 6: Bangladesh Champions–England Champions • listed 19:30 UAE / 21:00 IST.

Place: Sharjah Cricket Stadium, United Arab Emirates.

PARTICIPATION ALERT • CHECKED 4 OCTOBERDo not assume the 5 PM Australia–Pakistan match will take place.

Gulf News reports that WCL postponed Pakistan Champions–Bangladesh Champions on 3 October for stated “technical reasons”; the organiser had not confirmed the NOC reports there. The Express Tribune subsequently reported that Pakistan Champions were ruled out over PCB NOCs, quoting the team owner as still hoping for a reversal. The organiser's Match 5 card nevertheless remained marked “Scheduled” at our check. These sources conflict about future participation; check the organiser on match day before travelling, buying access or expecting a stream.

Match 6 remained listed on the organiser's calendar at this check. For either fixture's actual status or score on Monday, use the WCL match centre; a schedule row is not a confirmed toss, an eleven, a result or a promise that a disputed fixture will proceed.

02

These are Champions sides, not senior national-team fixtures

Keep the word Champions in the names. This is WCL's legends competition, not a current Australia–Pakistan or Bangladesh–England international. Some organiser detail headings abbreviate the names, while its match grid and FanCode list include the “Champions” designation. That distinction avoids sending a reader to a senior international scorecard for a different competition.

The two listed matches answer different queries within one URL: a reader checking the disputed Australia–Pakistan listing at 5 PM can find the separate Bangladesh–England game at 9 PM. The following day's India Champions–South Africa Champions guide covers another dated fixture and the unresolved later Pakistan–West Indies Champions listing.

03

Where does the official India digital listing point?

FanCode lists both 5 October games on its World Championship of Legends tour page. A platform schedule is not proof that the disputed Pakistan Champions game will proceed. Visitors must confirm match status, actual programme access and current terms with the organiser and FanCode; its tour page mentions a two-minute preview for some matches and paid options, which is not a promise of a free full-match stream. This page does not embed an unauthorised stream or claim a specific Indian TV network for WCL.

Do not mix those rights with India's senior men's bilateral series. The 6 October India–West Indies T20I is a separately organised home international with different rights-holder information from JioStar. Similar cricket searches do not make the broadcasting services interchangeable.

04

How to avoid a stale score or misnumbered WCL match

On 4 October a prior India Champions–England Champions fixture was still displayed as live on the organiser’s match centre at our check. We do not infer that winner, carry over a live partial score or claim a 5 October playing XI from it. The separate postponed 3 October Pakistan–Bangladesh game is evidence of a real scheduling risk, not proof that WCL has formally cancelled either 5 October card.

For match numbering, use WCL Match 5 and Match 6 for Monday. FanCode's listing for a different 4 October fixture used an inconsistent “Match 1” label; that does not change the two 5 October pairings on both current schedules. Match times, streaming conditions and status may be updated, so use the official match links above on the day rather than a cached social graphic.
