Where can India watch the 3rd ODI on 3 October?

For viewers in India, Star Sports Network is the television home of the India–West Indies home series, while JioHotstar is the digital streaming destination. This information comes from rights-holder JioStar's home-season announcement, the BCCI's current broadcaster labels and a 2 October match-specific report. The third ODI is scheduled for Saturday 3 October 2026 at 2:00 PM IST, not for 2:00 AM; the reported toss time is 1:30 PM IST. Check the live programme listing and any access requirements with the broadcaster before viewing.

Match scheduled 2:00 PM IST at New Chandigarh. No stream embedded here; channel numbering, subscription and programme availability depend on the provider and your location.

This is a viewing-route guide, not a live scoreboard, ticket sales page or assertion that an account on Vedik Exchange includes an official broadcast. The third-ODI match hub separately has the ground, series scores and upcoming-fixture status.

Why the 08:30 UTC listing also means 2:00 PM in India

The ICC match centre lists Saturday 3 October at 08:30 UTC and names PCA International Cricket Stadium, Ground A, New Chandigarh. India's UTC+5:30 offset makes that 2:00 PM IST. The BCCI schedule independently prints “2:00 PM” against the third ODI. Business Standard's 2 October match guide places the toss at 1:30 PM IST; that is a scheduled pre-match time, not a completed toss event.

A social clip, unofficial mirror or an app with “live” in its name is not proof of Indian media rights. JioStar's own release explicitly covers India's home series against the West Indies from 27 September to 17 October, including three ODIs and five T20Is, on JioHotstar and Star Sports Network. The BCCI website separately labels those outlets its broadcaster and digital streaming partner. An international ICC page can list different regional broadcast partners; it does not change India-specific rights.

A reliable path from the right match to the right service

  1. 01
    Confirm the fixture first

Use the ICC match centre or BCCI fixture notice to distinguish the 3 October ODI from an already completed Guwahati second ODI and the later T20Is.

  2. 02
    Choose a legitimate India destination

Check the programme guide for Star Sports Network on TV, or navigate independently to the official JioHotstar sports page. Programme availability and subscriptions are set by those services, not by this article.

  3. 03
    Recheck near the start

The scheduled match start is 2:00 PM IST. Broadcast timing can include a preview before the start; the 1:30 PM toss is a reported planned time, not proof a team sheet or live feed has already appeared.

The match-specific Prasidh–Kamboj selection report explains why an ODI squad change is not a confirmed playing XI. If you need directions rather than a stream, use the New Chandigarh/Mullanpur ground guide; broadcaster and venue are different questions.

04

Two different India matches, two different broadcast rights

The India–Pakistan Asian Games men's final is also scheduled for 3 October, at 10:00 AM IST in Japan. Olympics.com lists Sony LIV streaming and Sony Sports 1/3/4 on Indian TV for that event. Those are not the rights-holder names for the India–West Indies home ODI. Conversely, this Star Sports/JioHotstar guide is not a viewing guide for the Asian Games final. See the separate Asian Games final preview for its confirmed venue and start time.
